How accessible is the site?
The site is built to meet EN 301 549 with WCAG 2.1 level AA. It has not yet been audited by an independent party, so we say partially conformant until an external audit is done.
What is in place
- Consistent landmarks, headings in order, and a skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
- All functionality is reachable by keyboard. Focus is always visible and follows reading order.
- The menu is a disclosure pattern with aria-expanded, not a hover menu. Escape closes it and returns focus.
- Forms have real labels, errors tied to their field, an error summary that receives focus, and confirmations in live regions.
- Colour is never the only carrier of meaning. The chart palettes are validated against contrast floors in both light and dark mode.
- The grape matrix has an equivalent keyboard path and a table view with the same content as the chart.
- The site works at 200 percent zoom and in dark mode, and respects the system setting for reduced motion.
Known shortcomings
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- The map imagery in the blind maps does not yet have a text alternative carrying equivalent information.
- Parts of the course content exist only in Swedish, even when the interface is shown in English.
- No external accessibility audit has been carried out yet.
